First and foremost, we need to understand you and your individual needs. Only then can we gather our records. A clinical exam, digital 3D CT and x rays, teeth pictures, full arch radiographs, computerised joint records and a smile assessment and teeth charting. Then you can choose what’s right for you.
It’s now time to review all your options so you can choose what’s best for you. Our goal is for you to understand the issues and a full treatment plan with multiple choices will be presented, and we’ll use computer images plus demonstration models. Options, costs and risks of treatment need to be balanced against benefits until a clear choice can be made that suits you best.
Some people still like to leave it up to us, but we still prefer you to understand why we made our final recommendations.
We don’t want to do anything until you’ve decided we’re right for you.
The Team
Dr Chris Jackson
Dr Chris Jackson is Tweed District Dental’s practice Principal. Dr Chris was trained in Melbourne and is both passionate and highly skilled
He is always a keen student of life, with a healthy interest in all areas of dentistry, especially whole person health and beauty.
Junior Jaws has travelled up north from Melbourne with him, and now has a most important role as the platform of teaching and training PLUS having fun with those who join him on his journey.
As well as a growing respect for the quality of care from the whole team, he has a vision of early growth learning and healthy function, leading to everyone being their own best dentist & THAT’S REALLY LOTS TO SMILE ABOUT!
Dr Inta Rudajs
Dr Inta Rudajs is a dentist with over 40 years experience. She has developed a special interest in a holistic approach to health, beyond just filling teeth.
Dr Inta Rudajs says that many health issues today, can be affected by the lack of optimum facial development. Most importantly the airways, which allow us to breathe properly and oxygenate our tissues. If this development is compromised, it can lead to chronic facial pain, migraines, back pains and poor health in general, as we age. This problem can be treated by changing the shape of the jaws, using removable appliances. It is not an overnight process and can take some years, but the results are worth it.
Dr Michelle Ng B.D.S

I enjoy helping people and I endeavour to provide a really positive dental experience, especially for nervous people and children. My nature is always friendly, calm and caring. My fields of interest in dentistry are: prevention of dental disease, restorative treatment, root canal therapy, and early interceptive orthodontic treatment which assists the optimal development of the teeth and jaws.
